A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A GOLF BOARD TO CON-
TROL AND MANAGE THE AFFAIRS OF THE MIAiI-
HIALEAH GOLF 00URSE.

WHEREAS, the City of Miami has acquired by purahane
the Miami -Hialeah Golf Course, and.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reoammended that a Board
to be known as the Golf Board be appointed as provided for
by Section 88 of the City Charter to take charge of and
handle the affairs of the said Miami -Hialeah Golf Course with
power to formulate auoh rules and regulations as they deed
necessary and advisable,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami:
Section 1. That J. F. Chaille, W. N. Urmey, Mark Ger-
man, Wm. Harrison and &nest Cotton, Director of Public Ser-
vice, be, and they are hereby, appointed as a Golf Board to
serve for a term of one (1) year from the date of their ap-
pointment.
Section 2. That in case of the death, resignation or
removal of any of said members of said Golf Board, the re-
maining members or a majority of them, shall and are hereby
given the right and power to elect another person to fill
such vacancy.
Section 3. That the said Golf Board is hereby given
full power and authority to oontrol, manage, operate and di-
rect the affairs of the Miami -Hialeah Golf Course and Make
and enforce such rules and regulations as in their judgment
and discretion they may deem advisable for the beet interests
of said Miami -Hialeah Golf Course.
