HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-01039art COMMISSION \.. manse OF OCT le-Ig0.3 RESOLUTION No SUPPORTIV DOCUMENTS FOLLOW" WHEREAS the contract has heretofore been let for paving to a width of eighteen feet on Northwest Thirty-second Street from Miami Avenue to Northwest Seoond Avenue, and the property owners on said street, between Miami Avenue and Northwest Second Avenue, have requested that this improvement be changed so as to give a pavement of twenty-eight feet in width between curbs, together with curb and gutter, and such owners have signed a petition dated September loth, 1923 in which they waive all irregularity and illegality in connection with the said assessment against said lots or parcels, and each of said lots or parcels, and have agreed, in writing, to pay the said assessment for said improvement of twenty-eight feet wide between curbs, together with curb and gutter, in equal annual installments in each of the ten succeeding year at the time in said years at which the general city taxes are due and payable, with interest upon such deferred installments at the rate of six per century per annum, payable annually from the d.ate of the confirmation of the assessment roll, and have further agreed that if, at the date c f the delivery of their said written waiver of irregularity and illegaity, the said assessment roll has not been ccr.:fir:Lied, to thereupon file a sia.ilar waiver of irregularity and illegality after the con- firmation of the sail assessment roll, and ElEAS, the ror_erty on said Northwest Thirty-second Street fro.. Avenue to NLrthw est Seccnj Avenue aforesaid is described as follows: - Lot One (1), and Lets Twelve (12) to Twenty-one (21), both inclusive, of Block "A", and Lots One (1) to Twelve (12), both inclusive, of Block "B", Price's Addition to the City of 1�i3:::i, and Lots Thirteen (13) to Twenty-four (24), both inclusive, of Block Fourteen (14), and Lots Nineteen (19) to Twenty-eight (26), both "DOCUMENT INQ elusive, and Lot Eight (8), of Block 13, all in = D►F'ARD PARK, of the City of Miami, Florida., and ITEM NO. Company', NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Commission of .' the City of Miami that the said change of the said property owners as aforesaid be and the same is hereby grant ed. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the said contract for paving to a width of eighteen fbet on Northwest Thirty-second Street from Miami Avenue to Northwest Second Avenue be and the same is bhanged to paving tc a width of twenty-eight feet between curbs, together with curb and gutter, to be built,at an additional cost of $3,925.00 under paving Contraot No. 37 with the Jahn J. Quinn Company. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That a copy of this resolution be delivered by the City C1Frk to the Director of Finance, the City Manager, and the Director of Public Service, and a copy to the John J.
