and the City Manacer, under the direction of the Commission of
the City of Miami, has prepared and filed with the City- Clerk -
plans and specifications of such improvement and An estimate
of the cast thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
incidental expenses of said ir:,rarovement, and whereas due notice
by publication as required by the City Charter has been made
'that the Commission of the City of Miami would on the

Hall, at :CC o'clock, receive and hear the remonstrance-9
of all interested persons to the confirmation of said resolution
ordiering said improvement, ar:d all remonstrances received having
been heard and considered by the Commission of the City'cf Miami.
Therefore, Be It Re solved by the Commission of the City
of Miami, Florida, that the said resolution of the Commission of
the City of ;diarni ordering saidaprovement No. bj ,
District be, and the same is hereby oonfirmed.
Be it Further Resolved, that the City Clerk cause to be
published at least 3 times in the LIIALI POST
a newspaper of cereral circulation in Miami, Florida, and in
JAC1!:SONVILL3 TII.1:-UDIIOli
a newspaper of zeneral circulation throughout the State, pub-
lished at Jankeonville , Florida, a notice calling for
sealed bids tc be received by the Commission of the City of Miami
on the
30th day of Catcher 19 23 , at 9:30 a.m.
o'clock, for the ccnstruction cf the said work, Said notice
shall state the improvement is to be constructed, and paid for
in•cach, under Section 36, of the City Charter. Any bid cover -
in; work to be done under r; ere than one resolution shall be in
ateh form as to permit a separation to be made of the cost under
each resolution. Each rrcpcsal must be accompanied by a oex.-
tified check upon a bank cr trust company of Florida, in the eimour,t
of 2 j cf the amount of the bid, payable to the City of Miami,
to insure the execution of a oontraot and bond to carry cut the
work in accordance with the plans and specifications. All bids
will be opened and award of contract made or all bids rejected.
After an award has been mace, the checks of all bidders, other
than the one to whop:, the ccntract has been awarded, shall be re-
turned. In default of the entering into of such contract, the
certified check reds fired to accor..pany such bid shall be for-
feited to the City of Miami, Florida, nct as a penalty, but ac
liquidated dar::a:es for the delay or additional cost which may
be incurred by the City, by reason of such default. No bid
will be permitted to be withdrawn for any reason whatever after
having been filed with the Clerk.
