RES t UTION NO. /+I Z't, ... _...._.. , District, Sr.82 ,AiiIary elmr Imdroveraent No. Thereas, the Corrtruiesion Of the City of Miami, by reso- lution passed and adopted the 2�th day of Septeehar . 1923 ordered Sanitary C©w©e Ir.:irovement _ , District Sr. AP and the City Manager, under the direction of the Commission of the City of Miami, has prepared and filed with the City Clerk Jana and specifications of such improvement and an eatimato of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the incidental expenses of said improvement, and whereas due notice by publication as required by the City Charter has been made that the Commission of the City of 161arai would on the 9th day of October 1921_, at the City Hall, at ::0C o'clock, :e oeive and hear the rer.,onstrances of all interested persons to the confirmation of said resolution ordtring said imerover ent, and all remonstrances received having been heard and considered by the Commission of the City of Miami. Therefore, De It Resolved by the Commission of the City of Miami, Florida, that the said resoltit:ion of the Commission of the City of Miami orderin; saidSanni tary Sewpaprovement No. 82 District Sr.c be, and the same is hereby confirmed. Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk cause to be published at least 3 times in the MMIeder P0eX a newspaper of general circulation in Iiiar,:i, Florida, and in JACKSeI+'VILLE TIE S-UiiIOIv a newspaper of :eneral circulation throwghcut the State, pub- lished at pub - Jacksonville , Florida, a notice calling for sealed bids to be received by the Commission of the City of Miami on the 30th day of October 19 23 , at 9:30 a,.m. o'clock, for the construction cf the said work, Said notice shall state the improvement is to be constructed, and paid for in cash, under Section jb, ef the City Charter. Any bid covbr- ing work to be done under mere than one resolution shall be in as ch for as to permit a scearateon to be made cf the cost under each resolution. Each ereeesal rust be accompanied by a oex.- tified check upon a bank or trust coweany of Florida,in the amount of 2 d cf the amount of the bid, sayable to the City of Miami, to insure the execution of a oontraot and bond to oarry out the work in accordance with the plans and specifications. All bids will be opened and award of contract wade or all bide rejected. After an award has been made, the checks of all bidders, other than the one tc whom the ccntract has been awarded, shall be re- turned. In default of the etering into of such contract, the certified check ree i ired to accompany such bid shall be for- feited to the City of Florida, nct as a penalty, but ac liquidated dar.:aes for the delay or additional cost which may be incurred by the City, by reason of such default. No bid will be permitted to be withdrawn for any reason whatever after havinr- been filed with the Clerk.
