ING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
OONTRAOT FOR SAID WORK AND DIRECTING THE RETURN Of
CERTIFIED CHECKS AND BIDDERS BONDS TO THE UN8U00288'
FUL BIDDERS BY THE CITY CLERK.
WHEREAS, the Director of Publio Service and City Manager have,
pursuant to direotione, submitted tabulations of bids reoeived for
furnishing sewer castings under Storm Sewer Improvement No. 80, and
WHEREL8, it appears from such tabulation that the bid of C.H.
Lyne Foundry and Machine Company is the lowest and best bid received,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City
of Miami:
Section 1. That the proposal of the C. H. Lyne Foundry and
Machine Company for furnishing sewer castings under Storm Sewer Im-
provement No. 80, as set forth in their bid, be, and the same is here-
by accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, author-
ized and directed to enter into contract with the said C. H. Tyne
Foundry and L1aohil:e Company and that the contract be approved by the
City Attorney as to form and that the City Mianager submit said con-
tract to the City Commission for approval.
Section 3. That the City Clerk return to the unsuccessful bid-
ders the certified checks and bidders bonds which accompanied their
bids.
PASSED AND ADOPTED the 28th day of September, A. D. 1923.
