RESOLUTION NO. 10019.
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OP AND AWARDING CONTRACT
TO THE DMYIS OONSTRUOTION COMPANY FOR LAYING SUERS
UNDER SEWER DISTRIOT NO. 80 AUTHORIZING TED CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO 0 ON TRACT BOR SAID WORK AND DI-
REOTING THE RETURN OF CERTIFIED OEEOSS AND BIDDERS
BONDS TO THE UNSUCCESSFUL BIDDERS BY THE OITY OLSRM.
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service and the City I neger,
have, pursuant to direotione, submitted tabulations of bide re-
ceived for work under Storm Sewer Improvement No. 80, eat
WHEREAS, it appears that tjae bid of the Davie Conatruotion
Company is the lowest and best bid received,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City
of Miami:
Section 1. ghat the proposal of the Davis Construction Oom-
pany for the construction of sewers under Storm Sewer Improvement
No. 80, as set forth in their bid, be, and the same is hereby,
accepted.
Seotion 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, author-
ized and directed to enter into contract with the said Davis Con-
etruotion Company and that the contract entered into together with
the bond to be furnished by the contractor be approved by the City
Attorney and that the City Manager submit both contract and bond
to the City Commission for approval.
Seotion 3. That the City Clerk: return to the unsuccessful
bidders the certified oheoks and bidders bonds which accompanied
their bids.
PASSED AND ADOPTED the 28th day of September, A. D. 1923.
