CONTRACT TO MORGAN-HILL P
WORK UNDER HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT NO. 205,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MU/MR TO ENTER INTO
CONTRACT FOR SLID WORK AND DIRECTING THE RE-
TURN OF CERTIFIED CHECKS AND BIDDERS BONDS
TO THE UNSUCCESSFUL BIDDERS BY THE CITY 0?.M.
ALAS, the Director of Public Service and City
Manager have, pursuant to direotions, submitted tabula-
tions of bids received for work under Highway Improve-
ment No. 205, and
WHiZAS, it appears that the bid of Morgan -Hill
Paving Company is the lowest and beat bid received,
NOW, THEREFORE, BS IT RESOLVED by the Commission
of the Oity of Miami :
Section 1. That the proposal of the Morgan -Hill
Paving Company for the construction of street under
Highway Improvement No. 205 as set forth in their bid
be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to enter into contract
v.ith the said Morgan -Hill Paving CoAany and that the
contract together with the bond to be furnished by the
contractor be approved by the City Attorney and that
the City Manager submit both contract and bond to the
City Commission for approval.
Section 3. That the City Clerk return to the un-
successful bidders the certified checks and bidders
bonds which accompanied their olds.
