Section 1. ghat the City Manager be, and be le here ,
authorised and direoted to close negotiations for the pur-
chase of the North 22 feet of Lots 23 and 24 of Block 17
Uorth, upon the proper abstract of title being furnished to
the above described property and said abatrsot of title to
be palmed upon and approved by the Cityy Attorney and proper
and sufficient warranty deed oonveying the 1:orth 42 feet of
Lots A3 and 24 of Block 17 Eorth, said dead likewise to be
approved by the City Attorney as to form.
Section 2. That the sum of 49,000 be, and is hereby,
appropriated from the Contingent Fund Surplus for the purchase
of the above described property.
