have, pursuant to directions given at the regular meeting on,_
August 21st, submitted tabulations of bids received for Saler:
oastings included under Sanitary Sewer Improvement Dietriote
Bo. 61 to 79, both inclusive, and
WHEREAS, it appears from said tabulations that the bid of
C. H. Lyne Foundry and liaohine Co. is the lowest and beat bid
received,
THEREFORE, E: EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City
of
Section 1. That the proposal of 0. H. Lyne Foundry and
I;achine Company for sewer castings included under Sanitary
Sewer Improvement Districts No. 61 to 79, both inclusive, as
set forth in their bid be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
Section 2. That the City L nager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to enter into contract with said C. H.
Lyne Foundry and I:Iachine Co. and that the contract,together
with bond to be furnished by the contractor, be approved by the
City Attorney as to form anti that the City Manager submit both
contract and bond to the Comninissior. for approval.
',Action 3. That the City Clerk return to the unsuccess-
ful bidders the ce_•tified checks and bidder's bonds which ac-
companied their bids.
PASSED ADOPTED this 28th day of August, A. D. 1923.
