THAT PROPERTY FORMERLY KNOWN AS BLOCK "A" OF
THE LAWRENCE ESTATE LAND COMPANY'S SUB -DIVISION
OF A PART OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 54 SOUTH,
RANGE 41 EAST, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 8 on page 46, WHICH SAID
BLOCK "A" IS NO V SUBDIVIDED AND KNOW AS •

"MONTRAY" ACCORDING TO THE REVISED PLAT THEREOF
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 8, page 1 OF THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, EXCEPT LOT 89
OF THE SAID MONTRAY SUBDIVISION THEREOF:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City of
Miami that the offer of Ben Shepard to sell to the City of
Miami the property described in the caption of this resolution
at and for the purchase price of Eighty thousand ($80, 000.00)
dollars, together with interest thereon from January 1, 1923
to date, be and the same is hereby accepted, provided that
the. owner thereof furnish an abstract of title brought to the
date of the closing of the said transaction showing a good,
marketable title free from encumbrances, and a good and
sufficient warranty deed conveying said property to said
City, the said abstract of title and the said deed to be
approved by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said sum of Eighty
thousand ($80, 000.00) dollars and interest thereon from
January 1, 1923, be and the same is hereby appropriated from
the bond park fund for the purpose of paying the said Corr
siaeration.
PASSED AM ADOPTED this 2lst day of August, A.D.
