A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON.
PROPOSED APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR FROM JULY 1, 1923 to JUNE 30, 1924.
WHEREAS the City Manager has submitted his budget
estimate to the City Commission as required by 8eotion 29
of the City Charter, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has prepared an appro—
priation ordinance for the fiscal year from July 1, 1923

to'June 30, 1923, using the City Manager's estimate as a
basis, and
WHEREAS the City Charter requires that provision be made
for public hearings on said. proposed appropriation ordinance
before the Commission sitting as a committee of the whole,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Commission of the
City, of Miami:
Section 1. That the City Clerk be directed to give public
notice in the Miami Herald and in the Miami News Metropolis by
publication in each of said papers on August 2 and August 4,
1923, that the Commission sitting as a committee of the whole
will give public hearing on Tuesday, August 7, 1923, from 10 to
11 o'clock in the forenoon at the council chambers in the City
Hall to all persons who desire to be heard on said proposed
appropriation ordinanoe.
PASSED AND ADOPTED July 31st, 1923.
