Whereas, the Commission of the City of Miami, by reso-
lution passed and adopted the day of ,July 19 --
ordered SanitarySewer Improvement , District ,Sr,76
and the City Manager, under the direction of the Commission of
the City of Miami, has prepared and filed with the City Clerk
)tans and specifications of such improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, includinG an estimate of the cost of the
incidental expenses of said irarrovewent, and whereas due notice
by publication as required by the City Charter has been made
that the Commission of the City of Miami would on the
31st day of July 1923____, at the City
Hall, at 9.00 A.M. o'clock, receive and hear the remonstrances
of all interested persons to the confirmation of said resolution
ordering said iwprov€nient, and all remonstrances received having
been heard and considered by the Commission of the City of Miami.
Therefore, De It Resolved by the Cor:.nlission of the City
of Miami, Florida, that the Said resolton of the Commission of

Be it Further Resolved, that the City Clerk cause to be

a newspaper of general circulation in Miami, Florida, and in

a newspaper of rreneral circulation throughout the State, pub-
lished at
sealed bids
on the
Jacksonville , Florida, a notice calling for
to be received by the Commission of the City of Miami
21st day of Auust 19_21, at 9.C,D A.M.
o'clock, for the co:ic3truetion of the said work, Said notice
shall state the im)revenent is to be constructed, and paid for
in cash, under Section 3o, cf the City Charter. Any bid cover-
ing work to be done under mere than one resolution shall be in
such form as to permit a separation to be made of the cost under
each resolution. Each prcecsal must be accompanied by a cer-
tified check upon a bank or trust company of Florida,in the amount
cf 2 0 of the amount of the bid, sayable to the City of Miami,
to insure the execution of a contract and bond to carry out the
work in accordance with the plane elnd specifications. All bids
will be opened and award of contract wade or all bids rejected.
After an award has been made, the checks of all bidders, other
than the one to r;hora the contract has been awarded, shall be re-
turned. In defauit of the etering into of such contract, the
certified checl: required to accompany such bid shall be for-
feited to the City of Miami, Florida, not as a penalty, but as
liquidated dar:a es for the delay or additional cost which may
be incurred by the City, by reason of such default. No bid
will be permitted to be withdrawn for any reason whatever after
having; been filed with the Clerk.
