the: City of Miami, has rrepared and filed with the City Clerk
plaun and specifications of such improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, inaludinS an estimate of the cost of the
inoidental expenses of said ir»yrovurient, and whereas due notice
by publication as required by the City Charter has been made
that the Commission of the City of ILiarti would on the

Hall, at q.C: o'clock, re eive and hear the remonstrances
of all inIerested persons to the confirmation of said resolution
ordering said 3.t;preveme.rt, and all remonstrances received having
been heard and considered by the Cor.;r isaion of the City of Miami.
Therefore, Be It; Re ,eived by the Commission of the City
of Uiami, Florida, that the caid recoltti ion of the Commission of

Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk cause to be

a newspaper of general circulation in Miami, Florida, and in

a newspaper of general circulation throughout the State, pub-
lished at .TRnkea-urt11 P , Florida, a notice calling for
sealed bids to be received by the Conu.issicn of the City of Miami
on the
21st day of Au&;ust 19 23 , at 9.30 h
o'clock, for the coac3truction of the said work, Said notice
shall state the imprcver.znt is to be constructed, and paid for
in cash, under ;section 3o, cf the City Charter. Any bid cover-
ing work to be done under more than one resolution shall be in
each form as to permit a seraration to be made of the cost under
each resolution. Each ,Jrcreeal dust be accoelpanied by a cer-
tified check upon a bank or trust comeany of Florida, in the amount
of 2i% of the amount of the bid, l.ayable to the City of Miami,
to insure the execution of a contract and bond to carry out the
work in accordance with the plane rnd specifications. All bids
will be opened and award of contract made or all bids rejected.
After an award has been made, the checks of all bidders, other
than the one to r.hora the contract has been awarded, shall be re-
turned. In default of the entering into of such contraot, the
certified check recta fired to accompany such bid shall be for-
feited to the City of Liiarai, Florida, not as a penalty, but as
liquidated damejles for the delay or additional cost which may
be incurred by the City, by reason of such default. No bid
will be permitted to be withdrawn for any reason whatever after
Laving been filed with the Clerk.
