Theresa, the Commission of the City of Miami, by reso-
lution passed and adopted the day of July 19„,_
ordered Sanitary Sewer improvement , District nrAI;,
and the City 1 a.narer, under the direction of the Ccrm7iseion of
thc; City of Miami, has prepared and filed with the City Clerk
p1aT1n and specificatioas of such improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
inoidental expensee of said irr,rrovement, and whereas due notice
by publication as rewired by the City Charter has been made
that the Comrniesion of the City of Miami would on the

Hall, at 9.QC . A.M. o'clook, re oeive and hear' the remonstrances
of all interested persons to the confirmation of said resolution
ordering said rovE r nt, and all xeraonstrances received having
been heard and oonside_ed by the Commission of the City of Miami.

Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk -cause to be
published at least twice in the ::iaTi Herald
a newspaper of general oirculaticn in Miami, Florida, and in
Jacks orvill e r,es Union
a newspaper of '•eneral circulation throughout the State, pub-
lished at .TA.nkmnnvt 1 1 p Florida, a notice calling for
sealed bids to be received by the Cor.issicn of the City of Miami
on the
2 lst day of Aucuut 19 23 , at O_3n A.L.
o'clock, for the construction of the said work, Said notice
shall state the improvement is to be constructed, and paid for
in cash, under Section 3c, cf the City Charter. Any bid cover-
ing work to be done under more than one resolution shall be in
each form as to permit a seraration to be Lade of the cost under
each resolution. Each prcLJcsal must be accouapanied by a cer-
tified check upon a bank or trust cola,Jany of Florida,in the amount
of 2-go of the amount of the bid, ,.ayable to the City of t iami,
to insure the e::ecution of a contract and bond to carry out the
work in accordance with the plans and specifications. All bids
will be opened and award of contract wade or all bids rejected.
After an award has been mace, the checks of all bidders, other
than the one to whom the contract has been awarded, shall be re-
turned. In default of the entering into of such contract, the
certified check regi ired to accor..pany such bid shall be for-
feited to the City of Lliar i, Florida, not as a penalty, but as
liquidated dar::aq.es for the delay or additional cost which may
be incurred by the City, by reason of such default. No bid
will be permitted to be withdrawn for any reason whatever after
having been filed with the Clerk.
