27th, 1923, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT -MUOP.
WEERNAS, the City Manager has submitted the proposition
of the Gamewell Fire Alarm Telegraph Company to finish the
City with the necessary materials, apparatus and equipment for
extending and improving the present fire alarm system, and
V1 REAS, there can be no competitiPe bids obtained on
the equipment required for this purpose; therefore,
BZ IT RESOLV`EL by the Commission of the City of Miami;
Section 1. That the City Manager be, and is hereby, au-
thorized and directed to enter into contract, for and on be-
half of the City, with the Gamewell Fire Alarm Telegraph Com-
pany for the purchase of materials, apparatus and equipment for
the extension and improvement of the present fire alarm system
of the City as set forth in the communication of said Company,
addressed to the City Manager, under date of July 27, 1923, at
and for the sum of ;28,108.00.
Section 2. That the said sum of money for the payment of
the cost of the said materials, apparatus and equipment be paid
out of the :Piro Alarm Extension Bond Fund.
