A RESOLUTION XNVITING THE SOVERIGN GRAND LODGE
I.O.O.F. TO HOLD ITS 1924 MEETING IN FLORIDA AND
INVITING THE SAID LODGE TO MAKE A TOUR OF THE STATE
OF FLORIDA AT ITS MEETING, AND TO VISIT MIAIMI IN 1924.
WHEREAS the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce is
urging the Soverign Grand Lodge I.O.O.F. to hold its annual
convention in 1924 at Jacksonville, Florida, be followed by
a state wide tour of the said convention throughout the
State of Florida,
NOV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Commission of the
City of Miami that the said Soverign Grand Lodge I.O.O.F. are
earnestly requested to hold its annual 1924 meeting at
Jacksonville, Florida, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said convention is
earnestly requested to follow its meeting in Jacksonville by a
tour of the State of Florida and said Soverign Grand Lodge
I.O.O.F. is earnestly requested to visit the City of Miami in
1924 after the meeting; of its convention in the City of
Jacksonville.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of July, A.D. 1923.
