A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUIREMENT BY EMIN
DOMAIN FOR STREET PURPOSES OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
THE PROPERTY IN SAID CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, it is deemd to be to the best interests of the
inhabitants of the City of Miami that Southwest Second.Avenue,
formerly Avenue "G", be widened its full length from Flagler on
the North to the Miami River on the South, to a width of 85 feet,
and for such purpose it is necessary that the City acquire the
following described property, to -wit:

The East five (5) feet of the South eighty
(80) feet of Lot thirty (30), Block one -
hundred thirty-eight (138) North,
The Eaet five (5) feet of the South twenty
(20) feet of Lot one (1), Block one -hundred
thirty-eight (138) North,
The East five (5) feet of the North one -
hundred (103) feet of Lot one (1), Block one -
hundred thirty-eight (138) North,
all ac nor ling to the n;ap of said City made by A. L. Knowlton, C.E.
and recorded

Dade County, Florida, and
(4) The Test ten (10) feet of old Avenue "G" of the
following described property, to -wit: Commence
where the i:orth boundary line of Lot 2, Block 142
North, produced West would intersect the Test

NON, TBEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Oommiss
City of Miami, Florida,
Seotion 1: That the City Attorney be and ha is hereby
authorized to institute the necessary legal proceedings in the
name of the City of Miami for the acquirement by the City of
Miami by eminent domain of the above described f roperty for the
purpose of widening the streets heretofore named and for securing
proper and necessary approaches from the South to the Avenue "G"
bridge, over the Miami River, now in process of construction.
