Whereas, the Comission of the City of Miami, by reso-
lution passed and adoliOd the 15th day of Mar
ordered sidewalk Improvement 4z_, District Sk. 43
and the City Manager, under the direction of the Commission of
the City of Miami, has prepared and filed with the City Clerk
plans and specf:ia tions of such improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, inr•ludinc an estimate of the cost of the
incidental expenses of said improvement, and whereas due notice
by publication as required by the City Charter has been made
that the Commission of the City of Miami would on the
22nd day of May 192 3 , at the City
Hall, at 9:30 o'clock, receive and hear the. reuonstranoes
of all interested _persons to the confirmation of said resolution
ordiaring said i.m,:,roiremeut, and all remonstrances received having
been heard and c;onside_ed by the Commission of the City of Miami.

Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Com i esion of the City
of Miami, Florida, that the said resoltu.on of the Commission of
the City of Miami orderi ag said Sidewalk Improvement No. 43
District Sk. 43 be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk cause to be
published at least/ l '1n the
a newspaper of general circulation in Miami, Florida, and in
a newspal er of 7eneral circulation throughout the State, pub-
lished at

ing work to be done under more than one resolution shall be in

After an award has been :wade, the checks of all bidders, ether
than the one to whom the contract has been awarded, shall be re --
turned. In default of the erterinv into of such contract, the
certified check reaiired to accor..)aly such bid shall be fer-
feitd to the City of 4iiarai, Florida, not as a penalty, but as
liquidated dar..a.:es for the delay or additional cost which may
be incurred by the e by reason of such default. No bid
