V':hereas, the Comission of the City of Miami, by reso- lution passed and adopted the day of Mav ordered Highway Improvement - , District 11-1W and the City Manager, under the direction of the Commission of the City of Miami, has prepared and filed with the City Clerk Plana and specifications of such improvement and an estimate • of the cost thereof, inaludin6 an estimate of the cost of the incidental expenses of said improvement, and whereas due notice by publication as required by the City Charter has been made that the Commission of the City of Miami would on the �th day of MaY 192,_, at the City Hall, at 9.00 a.m. o'clock, receive and hear the remonstrances of all interested persons to the confirmation of said resolution ordthrin; said improvement, and all remonstrances received having been heard and considered by the Corm;ission of the City of Miami. Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Commiesionof the City of Miami, Florida, that the said resolttion of the Commis ion of the City of Miami ordering said Highway Improvement go.H-190 District H-190 be, and the same is hereby confirmed. Be it Further Resolved, that the City Clerk cause to be published at least ohoe in the MIAMI METROPOLIS a newspaper of eeneral circulation in Miami, Florida, arserebei kamthleamcbcpeccexeceeememareoexiefeceeteebe a notice calling* for sealed bids to be received by the Commission of the City of Miami on the 29th day of May 1923 , at 9. o'clock, for the construction of the said work, Said notice shall state the imerovemcnt is to Le constructed, and paid for in cash, under Section ef the City Charter. Any bid cover- ing work to be done under more than one resolution shall be in each form as to permit a seearation to be made of the cost under each resolution. All bids will be opened and award of contract made or all bide rejected. After an award has been elate, the checks of all bidders, other than the one to whom the contract iias been awarded, shall be re- turned. In default of the eterinc into of such contract, the certified check required to accor_.)a,ly such bid chall be fcr- feited to the City of Miami, Florida, net as a penalty, but as liquidated demaees for the delay or additional cost which may be incurred by the City, by reason of such default.
