A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF CLAIM
OP MR. AND MRS. B. C. PEDDY, IN THE SUM OF $500'
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Peddy claimed that on Or
about March l2th, 1923, they were injured in a collision,o
car driven by J. W. Northrup, an employee of The City -of Miami;
then and there engaged on business of the said City, and have
made claim to a large sun of money for damages, and
WHEREAS, after negotiations the said Mr. and Mrs.
B. C. Peddy have agreed to accept the sum of five hundred dollars
(e500.00) in full settlement of their respective olaims against
the said City of 'Liami on account of injuries received through
said accident, or otherwise, and the City Commission deem it
advisable to make said settlement by paying said sum of money,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THE THE COM ISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIA:dI, That the City :tanager be and he is hereby
authorized to pay to the said dr. and 1- s. B. C. Peddy the said
sum of fi7e hundred dollars ($500.00) in full settlement of their
respsoti,re claims uron receiving release in due form to be
ayyrovad by the City Attorney.
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the sum of five hundred
