A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR 0P YXI0
;TO ALLOW WIDOWS EXEMPTIONS.
WHEREAS, Seotion 897 of the Revised General Statutes
of the State of Florida exempt from taxation property to the value'
of $600.00 to every widow who has a family dependent upon her for
support.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, That the Director of Finance be authorised to
exempt from taxation property to the value of $500.00 to every
widow who -has a family dependent upon her for support, upon
reoeiving satisfactory proof by affidavit that the person applying
for euoh exemption is a widow and that she has a family dependent
upon her for support.
