WHEREAS, the Oity desires to purchase the property deew_
oribed as the triangular strip bounded on the North by 20th
Street (Johnson Street), on the East by the F. A. 0. Railway
and or. the West by Miami Avenue for street widening purposes,
and
WHEREAS, the same can be purchased for the sum of 0600
which is deemed reasonable for the property; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City of Miami,
that the sum of 42600.00 be, and is hereby, appropriated from
the GENERAL FUND SURPLUS to pa,: the purchase price of said
property and the City Manager is hereby authorized to consum-
mate the transaction with the owner upon approval of the title
by the City Attorney, said City of Miami t3 get a fee simple
title thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said sum of 42600.00 be
reimbursed to the GENERAL FUND SURPLUS from the STREET WIDENING
BOND FUND as soon ac the funds are available.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this loth day of April, A. D. 1923.
