and the City Manager, under the direction of the Commission of
the City of Miami, has prepared and filed with the City Clerk
plane and specifications of such improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
incidental expenses of said improvement, and whereas due
that the Commission of the City of Miami would on the
1rd day of 4.:;:11 192 3 , at the City
Hall, at ,o'olook, reoeive and hear the remonstrances
of all interested persons to the confirmation of said resolution
ordering said improvement, and all remonstrances received having
been heard and oonsidered by the Commission of the City of Miami.
Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Commission of the City
of Miami, Florida, that the said reaolAtIon of the Commission of
the City of Miami ordering said 7aEhwaY Improvement No. 192
District
be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk cause to be

sealed bids to be received by the Commission of the City of Miami :Tews
on the

day of May • 19 23, at 9:03 a.m.
o'clock, for the construction of the said work, Said notice
shall state the improvement is to be constructed, and paid for
in cash, under Section 56, cf the City Charter. Any bid cover-
ing work to be done under more than one resolution shall be in
each forty as to permit a separation to be made of the cost under
each resolution. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cer-
tified check upon a bank or trust company of Florida,in the amount
of 2L6/4 cf the amount of the bid, payable to the City of Miami,
to insure the execution of a oontract and bond to carry out the
work in accordance with the plans eind specifications. All bids
will be opened and award of contract made or all bids rejected.
After an award has been made, the checks of all bidders, other
than the one to whom the contract has been awarded, shall be re-
turned. In default of the amering into of such contract, the
certified check recpired to accoEpany such bid shall be for-
feited to the City of niami, Florida, not as a i2enalty, but as
liquidated Jama-es for the delay or additional cost which may
be incurred by the City, by reason of such default. No bid
will be permitted to be withdrawn for any reason whatever after
having been filed with the Clerk.
