A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6
AND ADOPTED JANUARY 9th, 1923.

WHEREAS, the City Commission passed and adopted'Retio1 L
tion No. 605 on January 9th, 1923, announoing its intention
to apply to the Legislature for certain amendments to the
City Charter, including an amendment of Section 2 of the City
Charter extending the City Limits, and
WHEREAS, the Commission believes an election,should first
be held under the Statutes of the State of Florida before such
extension be asked for from the Legislature, and
WHEREAS, in view of the proposed election for municipal
bondsjt is not believed such an election to extend the city
limits could be had before the adjournment of the Legislature;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ma:ISSIOI; OF THE OI'PY OF MIAMI:
That said resolution No. 605 be, and it is hereby, amend-
ed so as to strike therefrom all that part thereof which an-
nounces the intention of the Commission to apply to the Legis-
lature to amend Section 2 of the City Charter.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27 th day of February, A� D. 1923.
