AN ORDINANCE CLOSING NORTHEAST SAMORE COURT AND
NORTHEAST FOURTH AVENUE,
WHEREAS Northeast Bayshore Court extends from North-
east Thirteenth Street in a southerly direction a distance
of 130 feet, not connecting with any other street or highway,
and
WHEREAS Northeast Fourth Avenue extends from Northeast
Thirteenth Street in a southerly direction a distance of
130 feet, not connecting with any other street or highway, and
VHEREAS the abutting property owners on said Northeast
Bayshore Court and Northeast Fourth Avenue have requested the
City to close said court and said Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the said Bayshore Court and Northeast Fourth
Avenue are of no benefit as streets or highways to the said
City or its inhabitants, and
WHEREAS, the owners of abutting property on said North-
east Bayshore Court and Northeast Foutth Avenue have,
as part consideration for their request to close the said
streets or highways, deeded to the City of Miami a strip of
land twenty-five feet wide on Northeast Thirteenth Street from
NiSrth Bayshore Drive to the causeway viaduct for the purpo e
of widening said Northeast Thirteenth Street from a width of
forty feet to a width of sixty-five feet, and the City Commission
deems it to the best interests of the said City and its in-
habitants thereof, that the said two short streets be closed
and discontinued.
NO' , THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED By the 0 =rmission of the
City of Miami;
Section i. That Northeast Sayehore Court from Northeast
Thirteenth Street extending in a eoutherly direction for a
distance of 130 feet be and the sane is hereby closed and die -
continued,

Section S. That Nartheaat Fourth Avenue eitending
from Northeast Thirteenth Street in a southerly direction for
a diatance of 130 feet be and the same is hereby closed and
discontinued.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
PASSED ARO ADOPTED on its first reading and read by
title only, this eeday of June, A.D. 1923.
