AN ORDINANCE WIDEN/X0 NORTHEAST THIRTEENTH STREET
FROM NORTH DAYSHOtE DRIV ON THE WEST To THE CAUSEWAY
VIADUCT ON THE EAST FROM ITS PRESENT WIDTH OF PORT?

WHEREAS) Northeast Thirteenth Street from North
Bayshore Drive on the hest to the Causeway viaduct on the
East is forty feet in width and the travel and traffic thereon
is such that it is to theinterest of the inhabitante of the
City of Miami that the said street between the said points
be widened from ite present width of forty feet to a width
of sixty-five feet, and
WHEREAS, the Belcher Asphalt Paving Company, a Florida
corporation, has proposed to deed to the said City a strip of
land twenty-five feet wide aloes the South side of Northeast
Thirteenth Street between said North Bayshore Drive and said
causeway viaduct, which will enable the said City to widen
the said street to a width of sixty-five feet, w;^ i ch said deed
has been accepted by the said City of Miami, and the said
City has become the owner of said strip of land twenty-five
feet wide on the South side of Northeast Thirteenth Street
as it presently exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED By the Commission of the
City of Miami:
Section 1. That Northeast Tkarteenth Street in said
City between North Bayshore Drive on the west and the causeway
viaduct on the East be. and the same is hereby widened from its
present width of forty feet to a width of sixty-five feet,
said additional width to be taken from the South side of

Northeast Thirteenth Street, and coverin6 the land deeded to
said City by said Belcher Asphalt Paving Company,
Section 2, All or dir..ancee or parte of ordiz:an oee in
conflict herewith be and the sage are be-'eby repealed.
