District 8r. 59 1 RESOLUTION NO. 675r wa.nitary Sewer Improvement No. Sr. Whereas, the Commission of the City of Miami, by reso.. lution pgsgpaz�00.11.48uted the a Qs. 9 y of ordered Improvement , District 3 and the City Manager, under the direction of the Commission of the City of Miami, has prepared and filed with the City Clerk plans and specifications of such improvement and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the incidental expenses of said improvement, and whereas due notice by publication as required by the City Charter has been made that the Commission of the City of Miami would on the 21©t day of 3099rabor1922 at the City Hall, at '3'CC 1 " 1" o'clock, receive and hear the remonstrances of all interested persons to the confirmation of said resolution ordering said improvement, and all remonstrances received having been heard and oonsidered by the Commission of the City of Miami. Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Commission of the City of Miami, Florida, that the sai 1, mbsol*t or,' cf the Commissi9) of the City of Miami ordering said Highway Improvement No. Or. 59 District be, and the same is hereby confirmed. Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk cause to be L+i tual DI l y published at least onoe in the Metropolis a newspaper of general circulation in Miami, Florida, and in Timus Union a newspaper of Teneral circulation throughout the State, pub- lished at , Florida, a notice calling for . sealed bids to be received by the Commission of the City of Miami on the 22 19th day of neagtuber 19 , at 9:00 a.m. o'clock, for the construction of the said work, Said notice shall state the improvement is to be constructed, and paid for in cash, under Section 5o, of the City Charter. Any bid cover- ing work to be done under more than one resolution shall be in such form as to permit a separation to be made of the cost under eaoh resolution. Each proposal must be aococrpanied by a cer- tified check upon a bank or trust coiapany of Florida,in the amount of 2Z of the amount of the bid, payable to the City of Miami, to insure the execution of a oontraot and bond to carry out the work in accordance with the plans qnd specifications. All bids will be opened and award of contract made or all bids rejected. After an award has been made, the checks of all bidders, other than the one to whops the contract has been awarded, shall be re- turned. In default cf the entering into of such contract, the certified check recpired to accompany such bid shall be for- feited to the City of Miami, Florida, not as a punalty, but as liquidated da::.aes for the delay or additional cost which may be incurred by the City, by reason of such default. No bid will be permitted to be withdrawn for any reason whatever after havincr been filed with the Clerk.
