R$8 ©LUT XON NO. 3 Hi ghwey Improvement Io.132_ Whereto, the Commission of the City of Miami, by resolution passed and adopted the 9th day of uay Z9 .22 Hi ghwr.y ordered the Improvement No. 152 , District R.4 52 and the City !tanager, under the direction of the Commission of the City of liiani, has prepared and filed with the City Clerk Plane and speoifications of such improvement and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the incidental expenses of said improvement, and whereas due notice by publication as required by the City Charter has been made that the Commission of the City of !Liam would on the 13t1i. day of June ,19 22 , at the City Hall, at q A.m_ o'clock, reoeive and hear the remonstrances of all interested persons to the confirmation of said revolution ordering said improvement, and all remonstrances received having been heard and considered by the Commission of the City of Hiafn , Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Commission of the City of Hiami,Florida, that the said resolution of the Commission of the City of Miami ordering said Hivhway Improvement No.& 192 District H-15' be, and the came is hereby confirmed. Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk cause to be published at least one time in the Miami Metropolis a newspaper of general circulation in Iuiami,Florida, and in Jacksonville Times Union a newspaper of general circulation throughout the State, pub- lished at Jacksonville ,Florida, a notice calling for sealed bids to be received by the Commission of the City of Miami, on the a.la. 18th day of July 19 2Z_, at 9:00 oiclock/ for the construction of the said work, Said notice shall state the improvement is to be constructed, and paid for in cash, under Seotion 56, cf the City Charter. Any bid covering work to be done under more than one resolution shall, be in such ford as to permit a separation to be made cf the cost under each resolution. Eaeh proposal must be accompanied by a certified check upon a bank or trust company of Florida, in the amount of 2z lo of the amount of the bid, payable to the City of Miami, to insure the execution of a contract and bond to oarry out tkpziArk in accordance with the plans and specifi- cations. All eiheeks will be opened and award of contract made or all bids rejected. After an award has been wade, the checks of all bidders, other than the one to whcz:: the contract has been awarded, shall be returned. In default of the entering into of such contract, the certified check required to ac orr:pany such bid shall be forfeited to the City of 1Liai..i,Florida, :J.ot as a penalty, but as liquidated darrk,res for the deio.y or ad:.litionl cost which Lay be incurred by the City, by reason of such default. No bid will be permitted to be withdrawn for any reason whatever after having been filed with the Clerk. Passed and aaoj:ted this 13th day of June A.
