HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-00367XMproI Whereas, the Commission of the Oity, of Miami, by rep► lOi4P Passed and adopted the 9th �Unitary Sewer rdere h improv© cnt No. _day of e; May ._._.19..,1L_ ... , District 8r. 44 and the City Uanager, under the direction of the Commission of the City of Uiami, has prepared and filed with the City Clerk Plans and specification© of such improvement and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the incidental expenses of said improvement, and whereas due notion by publication as required by the City Charter has been made that the Cor ..ission of the City o: Miami would on the 13th day of June ,19 22,, at the City Hall, at 9 a.m. o'clock, revolve and hear the remonstrances of all interested persons to the confirmation of said revolution ordering said improvement, and all remonstrances received having been heard and considered by the Corss..ission of the City of 1liaz. . Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Commission of the City of Miami,Florida, that the said resolution of the Commission of the City of Uiar 1 ordering said Sanitary Amey Improvement No.& 44 District Sr. 44 be, and the sar..e is hereby confirmed. Be It Further Resolved, that the City Cleric cause to be published at least one time in the a newspaper of general circulation in L1iami, Florida, and in Jacksonville 'i'imee Union a newspaper of general circulation throughout the State, pub- lished at Jacksonville ,Florida, a notice calling for sealed bids to be received by the Commission of the City of Miami, on the a.m. 18th day of July 19 at 9:00 o'clock, for the construction of the said work, Said notice shall state the improvement is to be constructed, and paid for in cash, under Section 5b, of the City Charter. Any bid covering work to be done under more than one resolution shall be in such form as to permit a separation to be made of the cost under each resolution. Eaeh proposal must be accompanied by a certified check upon a bank or trust company of 'Florida, in the amount of 22% of the amount of the bid, payable to the City of Miami, to insure the execution of a contract and bond to carry out the woos in accordance with the plans and specifi- cations. All ill be opened and award of contract made or all bids rejected. After an award has been l+ede, the check of all bidders, other than the one to whom the contract has been awarded, shall be returned.
