MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE OXTY OF
Seotion 1. That eaoh of Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, fi is 5, 10,
12 and 13 of a resolution adopted May 2, 1922 entitled "A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING 700, 000 MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS" be and is hereby amend-
ed by striking therefrom the phrase reading "numbered from
inclusive" and the figures contained in such phrase.
Section 2. That Seotion 15 of said resolution be and the same is
hereby amended so as to read as follower:
Seotion 15. All said bonds shall be numbered consecutively
from 4399 to 5098 inclusve, in the order of their maturities, the
bonds bearing lowest numbers to be those first maturing of the en-
tire Seven Hundred Bonds, and the bonds bearing consecutive num-
bers following to be those of the succeeding maturity and so on;
when the numbers of the bonds of each ::maturity shall have been so
determined, there shall be assigned or allocated to the Street .De-
partment Bonds the lowest numbers of bonds having such maturities
as have been designated for Street Department Bonds by ordinanoe
No. 76; and thereupon there shall be assigned or allocated to the
remaining eleven classes of bonds in the order herein specified
the lowest available numbers of bonds having such maturities as
have been designated for each of said eleven classes by said Ordi-
nance No. 76; and on the reverse of each bond there shall be print-
ed a statement showing the amounts and numbers and maturities of
each of such twelve classes of bonds; and a copy of such statement
shall be recorded in the bond record of the City; pursuant to this
Section the numbers of the Street. Depa:tr:ent Bonds shall be first
ascertained and thereupon, from the remaining available numbers
of the remaining eleven classes shall be ascertained, all in the
following order:

Section 3. That each of sections 2, 3,
12 and 13 of said resolution be and the same is hereby amended by strik-
ing therefrom the phrase reading "and bearing interest not exceeding
six per centum per annum, the exact rate of interest to be fixed by the
Oity Commission of the City of Miami after the reoeipt of the bids there-
for", and by inserting in lieu of the wordd so stricken, in each of said
twelve sections, the words "and bearing interest at five per oentum per
a nnum" .
Section 4. That Section 17 of said resolution be and the same is
hereby amended by changing the date on which the Director of Finance is
authorized to receive sealed bids for said bonds from May 23, 1922 to
June 6th, 1922, and by adding to said section the words "which bids shall
be for all of said bends and not for any part less than all."
Section 5. That this resolution shall go into immediate force and
effect upon its passage and adoption.
