under the circumstances that the City Attorney should be` direot-
ed to defend. such action; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City of Miami:
That the City Attorney be and he is hereby directed to de-
fend for said W. K. Lancaster the suit of H. L. Woodward against
him for damages, but the City Commission, in this passage of
this resolution, does not assume or agree to pay any of oosts
involved in said. litigation.
