WHEREAS, a oertain suit in the nature of Warner V. Oity of Miami
is now pending, and
WHEREAS, certain settlement in the sum of 0550.00 oan be made in
full settlement of said claim; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE OI=L'Y OF MIAMI, that the
City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to make and obtain said
settlement on the basis of 060.00 if such oan be done.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CANCELLATION OP 1921 TAXES
ON CERTAIN PROPERTY IN ESCOTTOIIIA PARK AND GOLD OOURT,
WHICH HAS BEEN PAVED AND HAS BEEN USED POR STREET PUR-
POSES FOR SOME TINE.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance report° that pertain property
described as: Twenty-five foot (25) strip lying between lots 9 and
10, Block 3, Esoottonia Park and the Twenty-five foot (25) strip ly-
ing between lots 9 and 10, $look 4, Gold Court, were reserved in the
original plat of this sub -division for Street Purposes, and that it
is now paved and oiled and has been used as a Street for some time,
and
WHEREAS, the above described property is assessed for 1921 Tax-
es, in the sum of $49.20; now, therefore,
BB IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City of Miami, that the
Director of Finance be and is hereby authorized to oanoel 1921 Taxes
assessed against this property, in the sum of $49.20, in Eeoottonia
Park and Gold Court, which is now paved and used as a street, same
to be charged to appropriation for TAX REFUNDS.

Section 1. To Transfer the sum of $500 from the appropriation of
Salaries to Medical Attention - Policemen in the Division of Police,
Department of Public Safety.
Section 2. To fransfer the sum of $710.00 from the appropriation
of Wages --Park Laborers to Clearing Park Grounds in the Divsion of
Parks and Play Grounds Division of Public Welfare.
