BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIA'dI: That no collection oft circuses, vaudevilles, minstrels, theatrical performances and other shows and forma of amusement acting collectively and under the supervision and control of one and the same management, performing or operating in one enclosure or place of business, shall engage in any business in the City of Miami, Florida, without first obtaining; a license therefor, and that such blanket license tax is hereby fixed at the sum of $500.00 yearly., That any circus, vaudeville, minstrel, theatrical performance or other show or form of amusement given or performed under said blanket license tax which shall, in the opinion of the City Manager of the City of Miami be contrary or detrimental to the peace, dignity, general welfare, public safety and good morals of the City of Miami, shall oease and be closed by order of the said City Manager, and the said City Manager is hereby granted authority and general supervision over any and all amusements o :eratint; under aaid blanket license tax, and in violating of such order or and rs of the sail City Manager the said blanket license tax shall then and the: be arni become forfeited. Any coveotion of oiroueee, vaudevilles, minetrela, theatrical performances and other ehowe and forme of amusement acting collectively and under the eupervioion arid control of one and the same management, operating and doing business in one enclosure or place of business, without first having obtained a blanket' license provided for herein, shall upon conviction be punished by fine not exceeding Five :hundred ($500.00) Dollars, or imprisonment not exceeding sixty (60) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court. Should any part of this ordinance be declared invalid in any judicial Proceeding, such partial invalidity shall not affect the rea.ainder of this ordinance.
