Section 1. That a boiler inspector shall be appointed
bar the Oity Lanagor and the person or persons so apipointed shall
be qualified in training or experience in the theory or practice
of construction and operation of stew boilers c.nd the testing
of such boilers.
Section 2. That every steam boiler where steam under
pressure of fifteen pounds or over per square inch is used for any
purpose within the City of Mash, to ;et or 'with their settings
and safety appliances, shall be inspected at least once a year by
the boiler inspector, who shall pa:; :n tilk2Ir safety, and have
power to order the person, owner or user to have them repaired or
re -set if found in an unsafe condition and a menace to life or
property.
Section 3.
If the owner or user of a stows boiler shall
.carry greater pressure in their boiler than is allowed LI. the cer-
tificate of inspection issued by the City Boiler Itsnector such
,persons shall be guilty of a violation of this ordinance.
: Section 4. Al]. steam gauges, safety valve:o, eta., found
in error or in a damaged or uncafe.co dition, is a violation of
this ordinance.
Section 5. The :oiler Inspector have the authori-
ty in discharge of his duties to enter any premises on vinich is
