BB IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION O' THE OITY OP MIAMI:
Section 1. That Section 14 of Ordinance No. 114, entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE INSPECTION 0P ALL ES-
TABLISHMENTS AT 'IflI0 MEAT AID tt AT FOOD PRODUCTS ARE
PREPARED, PROtESSED, STORED, HANDLED, SOLD OR EXPOSED
POR SALE, WITHIN THE OITY OF MIAMI, AND PROVID/NO A PEN-
ALTY POR ITS VIOLATION",
be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
Section 14. Any person or persons charged with any
of the duties imposed by this ordinance, failing after twenty-
four hours' written notice from the Director of Public Welfare
to comply with such ordinance in the particular or particulars
set forth in the notice, shall be deemed guilty of a violation
of this ordinance, and for each day after the expiration of said
twenty-four hours, that the said person fails to comply with
this ordinance, he shall be deemed guilty of a separate violation
of this ordinance, and any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall, on conviction, be subject to a fine of
not less than ten dollars (410.00) not more than fifty dollars
450.00) or to imprisonment for not less than five (5) days nor
more than fifteen (15) days.
2. The Commission declares this ordinance to be an
emergency measure on the ground of urgent public need for the preserva-
tion of peace, health, safety and property.
