AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION TECREOP",
be and it is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
Section 4. Any person or persons charged with any of the
duties imposed by this ordinance, failing after twenty-four hours'
written notice from the Director of Public Welfare to comply with
such ordinance in the particular or particulars set forth in the
notice, shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this ordinance,
and for each day after the expiration of said twenty-four hours
that the said person fails to comply with this ordinance he shall be
deemed guilty of a separate violation of this ordinance and any per-
son, violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, on
oonviotion, be subjeot to a fine of not less than ten dollars (el0.00)
nor more than fifty dollars (60.00) or to imprisonment for not leas
than five (5) days nor more than fifteen (15) days.
Section 2. The Commission deelaree this ordinance to be an
emergenoy measure on the ground of urgent public need for the preaerva-
tiou of peace, health, safety and property.
PASSER AND ,ADOPTED this 19th day of April, A. D. 1922.
