A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUIREMENT
BY EMINENT DOMAIN FOR STREET PURPOSES OF ,
THE CITY OF MIAMI OF THE PROPERTY IN SAID
CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the street in the City of Miami known as
Northeast Seoond Avenue (old Biscayne Drive), is only thirty.
feet wide and such width is not sufficient forthe convenience.
and safety of the public, and,
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami
deems it necessary to widen said Street between the points
approximately
hereinafter set forth, a distance of/ten (10) additional feet
on the East side of said Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TH7' CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Attorney be and he is hereby
authorized to institu-e the necessary legal proceedings for the
acquirement by the City of Miami by eminent domain of the
following described property in said City, to —wit:
FIRST.
Beginning at a point eighteen and seven tenths (18.7)
feet East of the monument line as established by the City of
Miami an N.E. 2nd Ave. (formerly Biscayne Drive) , and one
hundred five (105) feet North of the Northerly line of N.E. 31st
Street (formerly Wood Avenue) said point being on line with
the Northerly line of the Subdivision known as "Broadmoor",
thence in a Northerly direction two hundred (200) feet parallel—
ing said monument line to the Southerly line of land belonging
to or formerly belongin; to Thomas C. F. O'Brien, thence in an
Easterly direction along said line eleven and three tenths (11.3)
feet, thence in a Southerly direction paralleling said monument
line two hundred (200) feet to the Northerly line of "Broadmoor",
thence in a Westerly direction eleven and three tenths (11.3)

:feet to the point of beginning, same being all of the Westerly
eleven and three tenths (11.3) feet abutting on N.N. 2nd Avenue
(Formerly Biscayne Drive) of that piece or parcel of land
belonging or formerly belonging to W. B. Allen, and extending
from N.E. 2nd Avenue to Biscayne Bay.
SECOND.
Beginning at a point nineteen (19) feet East. of the
monument line as established by the City of Miami on N.E. and
Ave. (formerly Biscayne Drive), and three hundred five (305)
feet North of the Northerly line of N.E. 31st Street (formerly
Wood Avenue) thence in a Northerly direction paralleling said
monument line two hundred eighty nine (289) feet to a point one
hundred twenty five (125) feet South of N.E. 34th Street
(formerly Beverly Drive) said point being on line with the
Southerly line of the Subidivision known as "Beverly", thence
in an Easterly direction along said Southerly line of "Beverly"
eleven (11) feet, thence in a southerly direction paralleling said
monument line two hundred eighty nine (289) feet to Norbherly
line of land belonging or formerl:• belonging to W. B. Allen,
thence Westerly along said Northerly line of W. B. Alien, eleven
(11) feet to point of beginning, same being all of the Westerly
eleven (11) feet abutting on N.E. 2nd Avenue (formerly Biscayne
Drive) of that piece or parcel of land belonging or formerly
belonging to Thomas C. w. O'Brien, and extending from N.E. 2nd

Beginning at a point on the Southerly line of N.E. 15th
Street (formerly Bird Avenue) and on the curb line thirty (30)
feet East of the monument line as established by the City of
Miami on N.E. 2nd Avenue (formerly Biscayne Drive), thence in an
Easterly direction ten (10) feet along N.E. 15th Street, thence
in a Southerly direction paralleling said curb line eighty-two
(83) feet to the back lot line, thence in a Westerly direction
along the bank lot line to the said curb line, thence in a
Northerly direction eighty-two (82) feet along said curb line to
the point of beginning, being the Westerly portion of Lot No.
47, in the Subdivision known as "Nelson Villa".
FIFTH.
Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of N.E. 16th
Street (formerly Tatum Avenue ), and on the curb line thirty (30)
feet East of the monument line as established by the City of Miami
on N.E. and Avenue (formerly Biscayne Drive), '.hence in a Norther-
ly direction eighty seven and five tenths (87.5) feet along said
curb line to the back lot line, thence in an Easterly direction
along the back lot line ten (10) feet, thence in a Southerly
direction eighty seven and five tenths (87.5) feet paralleling
said curb line to N.E. 16th Street, thence in a Westerly direction
along N.E. l6th Street ten (1G) feet to the curb
