I write to note my strong opposition to this proposal, which if approved would Jun
functionally reverse the recent repeal of the T5-O "enhancement" and allow buildings 26
of up to 20 stories to be constructed within a mile of the Metrorait Coconut Grove 2025
station. This would ruin our neighborhood. At a minimum, this proposal should be 12:49
deferred to allow for input from Coconut Grove residents or it should be amended to pm
exclude NCD-3 from its scope MDT
VOTE NO TO SR 1 UNLESS YOU CAN DO IT WITHOUT EXTENDING TERM
LIMITS! Miami voters have the right to decide their leadership, and now, simofar to
out corrupt federal government, King, Pardo and Rosado are taking the position that
they have the right to deny our voter's rights to decide. YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY
CORRUPT AND HAVE NO SHAME, JUST LIKE SUAREZ AND COROLLO! Rosado
SR. 1 just got there snd is already failing the city and his constituents, and showing his
#17723 true colors, nit shocking given his relationship with corrupt Corofto! We don't need
Amend another year of this corruption and we have a right to decide! We need and want
Code - new candidates and definitely more commissioners to hopefully reduce the ridiculous
Chapter 16 amount of power, sway and resulting corruption that the present and longstanding
- Election commissioners have enjoyed for FAR TOO LONG, at the grave cost only to us, the
Dates residents! NO EXTENDING TERMS NOW, INSTALL LIFETIME TERM LIMITS, AND
ALLOW THE PEOPLE TO VOTE ON IT, AND DO NOT STAND IN THE WAY OF OUR
DEMOCRATIC RIGHT TO VOTE, including the new candidates who have already
entered the race and have the right to be there and give the voters a fair choice!
Most of you really need to go, like years ago! No more rotten city commissioners!
Thank you.

Please vote to DEFER PZ6! Affordable housing and encouraging use of mass transit Jun
are important civic priorities. But let's be smart: this sweeping Transit -Station 26
Neighborhood Development designation is a one -size -fits -aft proposal that wilt cause 2025
as much harm as it does good! The City must take the time to design changes to 8:19a
the zoning code that wilt allow for increased density in Locations where people wilt m
WALK to the metrorait and, to create housing that is truly affordable. MDT
Decisions about Landmark properties should not happen in the shadows. The public
deserves open hearings, impact assessments, and genuine community feedback. A
transparent RFP inviting proposals for adaptive reuse that balance arts access with
fiscal responsibility is much better option for the Downtown Miami gem, the Olympia
Theatre.

My vote is no on PH 1, DO NOT GIVE THE OLYMPIA THEATER TO A PRIVATE
CHARTER SCHOOL. It doesn't even make sense, it's a sports school, it's not even Jun
new worlds or something relevant. Regardless, to basically give this away at a loss, 26
when it's worth millions just because the city has let it fall into disrepair to ease its 2025
sale, is abhorrent. This is city gem, and should be kept as such. There is no good 6:58a
reason to give this away to any other authority. This is a public jewel and we the m
public want to keep it and see it restored. Miami already has so few historic and MDT
beautiful venues, dont give this one away.
I strongly oppose the giving away of the Olympia Theater to one of the largest for
profit charter schools Academia, and it's SLAM project. As someone who has both
attended and produced cultural events at the Olympia, I can say that using it as an
"auditorium" for students only is a complete waste of resources - it is the nicest
theater in the entire county, one that should be fully renovated and restored to
function as the cultural icon that it is. If giving it away, why not to Miami Dade
College or some other public institution with a track record of producing high quality
cultural events for both students and the public. I am so disappointed by this move
to give it to SLAM, please don't take away this jewel from the public - we all deserve
experience the Olympia with broader public access, not as a home for private for
profit charter education - it's a bad match.
I support moving elections to even years.

I do not support PZ6 as published. Presently, there are no protections for the NCD or Jun
Historic districts. As written, PZ6 is nothing but a trojan horse that allows developers 25

buildings. The PZAB vote was taken under duress. If you listen to the meeting, you 6:02p

I urge you to oppose PZ6 as written. While TOD is a smart planning tooL, this blanket
rezoning invites overdevelopment in historic, low -scale neighborhoods, threatening
3843 PZ. 6 community character, affordability, and livability. High density should be focused
Kumqu #17599 within 1h mile of transit, with medium -rise, mixed -use buildings. Beyond that, we
at Zoning should allow for gentle density —duplexes, ADUs, and small multifamily —to create

It is appalling that commissioners propose giving away the Olympia, a gorgeous
historic theater & cultural gem, to Pitbult's Slam Academy - managed by a for -profit Jun
