Section 1. That the Florid-:.. Bost Coast Railway
Company, its successors and assi-ns, be, and it is hereby,
required to construct, maintain and use for the protection
of the public, safety gates at the crossing of the tracks of
said Railway Company running ;forth and South through the City
of Miami at the intersection of said railroad tracks with
Eleventh Street in said City, such safety gates to be of a
similar deoir-n and mechanish to thoce nov in use at the inter-
sections of such tracks with Twelfth and Seventh Streets in

by said Raileray Company I,i as to proviu.e reasonable and proper
warning and protection to persons riding in or drivirr; auto-
mobiles or other vehicles, or on foot, of -.he approach of trains,
cars and locomotives to and over said crossings at Seventh,
Eleventh and Twelfth Streets; which safety fates shall be
equipped with sone suitable mans for the sounding of a bell
or gongljust before and during the time that the gates are being
lowered, sufficiently loud for persons approaching; any of said
crossings to have warning that the gates are about to be lowered.
Said safety Writes at the crossing at Eleventh Street shall be
constructed and 1N1 put in by said Rai1w r.' Company as soon as
the City of 'Uliani shall have constructed and paved the said

not attempt to pass under, through or around the same until such
gates have teen again lifted.
Section 3. bl IT FURTHrR oRDAI1• D that any and all
persons approaching any one of said crossings in automobiles
or other vesicles ss :a.11 do so at a rate of speed not exceeding
six miles per hour, and shall each have such automobile or other
vehicle under control, and shall look and listen for the sounding
of such bell or tong or the lowering of such rates, and, upon
the sounding of such tong or bell, or the commencement of such
gates to descend, shall rrinc said automobile or other vehicle
to a stop before reaching: the point There such gate or gates
would be when lowered, there remaining until said gates have
again been lifted, and without attempting to pass inside,
through or under said gates after the sounding of such warning
or the commencing of said gates to descend, and without running

Section 4. For the proper enforcement of this
