RULES OF THE ROAD.

Section u. Passing other Vehicles. All vehicles passing
other vehicles moving in the same direction must pass the same to
the left. A vehicle approaching another corning from the opposite
direction shall pass it to the right of the middle of the road, and
as near to the right hand curb as practicable,
Section 4► Turning Worriers, A vehicle turning into another
street to the right shall turn to the Jerner as near to the right
hand curb as practicable. A vehicle turning into another street to
the left shall turn around and to the right of the intersection of
theuenter lines cf the two streets. At all interaeati or:s where a
traffic policeman is officiating all turnings at corners shall be
done only in accordance with his signals cr dire:tions.
Section E. Half Turns. A vehicle crossing from one side of
the street to the other on two-way traffic streets shell head in
the same direction as the traffic on that side cf the street to
which he crosses. No vehicle shall back to maze a turn in any
street, if by so doing it interferes with other vehiolee, but
shall go around the black or to a street intersection sufficient-

Section 6. Stopping. (a) Igo vehicle shall be stopped with
its left side to the curb, and no vehicle shall be stopped in Oily
street except close to the right hand curb, (unless otherwise pro-
vided in this Ordinance) or to allow another vehicle or pedestrian
to cross its path; nor shall any vehicle be stopped in such manner
as to impede the progress of other vehicles or of pedeatriane.

Section 7. Obedience to police. All drivers must stop at
the signal of any police offi er Who is in uniform or eithibits a

of such police officers.
Section 8. Signals. All drivers of vehicles shall before

streets have the right-of-way over vehicles approaching same on the

Street; Avenue 0, except at 12th Street; Avenue D,
except at 12th
Street; Avenue G', H, I, except at 12th Street, and only east and
north of the Wiami River; Lawrence Drive, except at 12th Street.
Vehicles approaching the above etreeta and avenues from intersect-
ing streets' shall, before crossing cr turning into same, slew up cr

streets and at intersections till vehi.lee shall have the right-of-
way aver other vehicles approaching cn intersecting streets from
the left and shall give right-of-way to these approaching from the
right.

town zone; provided, however, that hao,te may park wherever there is

Section 15. Impounding. The police authorities are hereby
given the authority to impound any unoccupied vehicle found violating
the rules of this Article of this Ordinance, and shall release said
vehicle to the duly identified owner thereof only upon the payment
of an impounding fee of $3.00 per day.

SEEED.
Section 1. General_Rule. No person shall operate a vehicle
or permit same to be operated,while he has authority over its
operation, recklessly, or at a rate of epeed greater than is reason-
able and proper huvinE regard to the width, condition, traffic, and

afflicted with epilepsy, or is otherwise physically Unfit to operate
or drupe a vehicle on the public streets, shall be permitted to do so.
section 7. Report_ of .Accidents, In case of accident or col-
lision with person or property doe to the driving or operation of
any vehicle, the person operating such vehicle shall immediately
stop and give such assistance as he can, and 13r1a11 give his name
and address, together with the name and address of the owner of
such vehicle and the license number of same, to the person injured
or to any other person requesting the same and shall immediately
thereafter report the accident or :ollisian stating all the fats
to the Police Station.

Section 9. Bicycles. A bicycle : all not be ridden on the

curb. No one while riding a bicycle shall carry any person or any
heavy package or other load which would prevent the rider from

used by any person for skating on roller skates unless certain areas

Section 16. Signals. No signal shall, under any circumstances,
be sounded iii any quiet zone, nor shall any signals be sounded an any
public street after the hour of mid -night and before 6 A. 1. except
in case of neoeesity.
Section 17. Animals. Any person driving a motor vehicle shall
at the signal by hand of any person riding cr driving a horse cr other
domestic animal stop such automobile or other vehicle and remain sta-
tionary as long as may be necessary to allow said horse cr animal to
pass.
Section 16. Animals. No one shall knowingly permit an animal
to be driven which is not in every respect fit for the eervise for
which it is employed and free from lameness, sores or any disease
likely to cauee pain to the animal or any injury to person or prop-
erty. No one shall illtreat, overload, over -drive, over -ride, or
cruelly or unnecessarily beat any animal.

Section 5. Lights for Non -motor Vehicles. All vehicles other
than motor vehicles shall be equipped with one light at least, the

of not less than 300 feet.

smoke exhaust shall not be permitted in the etreete.
