A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI COMMISSION, AUTHORIZING THE
ACCESSING OF THE CITY OF HOLLYWOOD CONTRACT NO. RFP-045-23-SK-
CITYWIDE MICRO -TRANSIT SERVICES ("HOLLYWOOD CONTRACT"), PURSUANT
TO SECTION 18-111 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS
AMENDED ("CITY CODE"), WHICH WAS COMPETITIVELY SOLICITED AND
AWARDED TO CIRCUIT TRANSIT INC. ("CIRCUIT TRANSIT") FOR AN INITIAL TERM
OF ONE (1) YEAR WITH THREE (3) ADDITIONAL ONE (1) YEAR OPTIONS TO
RENEW; SUBJECT TO ANY EXTENSIONS AND/OR REPLACEMENT CONTRACTS
BY CITY OF HOLLYWOOD; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES
OF FUNDS OF THE USER DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES; SUBJECT TO THE

COCONUT GROVE BID AREAS; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING ANY
AMENDMENTS, RENEWALS, AND EXTENSIONS; SUBJECT TO ALLOCATIONS,
APPROPRIATIONS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL HAVING BEEN PREVIOUSLY
MADE, AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY
CODE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE CITY OF MIAMI'S PROCUREMENT
ORDINANCE, ANTI -DEFICIENCY ACT, AND FINANCIAL INTEGRITY PRINCIPLES,
ALL AS SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 18 OF THE CITY CODE, IN A FORM
ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE
REGULATIONS, AS MAY BE NECESSARY FOR SAID PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") wishes to enhance and improve its transportation
infrastructure wherever possible; and
WHEREAS, the City of Hollywood Contract No. RFP-045-23-SK- Citywide Micro -Transit
Services ("Hollywood Contract") provides a solution bringing point-to-point transportation services
that meets the growing transportation needs of City residents and visitors; and
WHEREAS, the accessing of this contract will allow the City to provide short -distance,
door-to-door rides within various designated service areas for its residents and visitors; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 18-111 of the City Code, the Chief Procurement Officer
determined that said Hollywood's contract was entered into, pursuant to a competitive process in
compliance with the City's laws, policies and procedures; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to authorize the City Manager to negotiate and
execute a supplemental agreement with Circuit Transit, Inc., utilizing the Hollywood Contract, in
a form acceptable to the City Attorney, subject to the City executing an interlocal agreement with
Miami -Dade County to allow the City to receive its portion of Municipal Share Funds from the
Charter County Transit System Surtax for Transportation and Transit Projects and to allow the
use of the Surtax for on -demand transportation services throughout designated areas of Coconut
Grove and Coconut Grove BID area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORI DA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. Accessing of the Hollywood Contract No. RFP-045-23-SK- Citywide Micro -
Transit Services, on a contractual basis, pursuant to Section 18-111 of the Code of the City of
Miami, Florida, as amended, with Circuit Transit Inc., which was competitively solicited for a term
of one (1) year with three (3) additional one (1) year options to renew, is authorized.
Section 3. Funds to be allocated from City's various sources of funding from the user
Departments and agencies, subject to availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of
need.
Section 4. The City Manager is authorized' to negotiate and execute a Supplemental
Agreement with Circuit Transit, Inc., utilizing Contract No. RFP-045-23-SK- Citywide Micro -
Transit, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, subject to the City executing an interlocal
agreement with Miami -Dade County to allow the City to receive its portion of Municipal Share

Anti -Deficiency Act, and Financial Integrity Principles, all as set forth in Chapter 18 of the City
Code, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, and in compliance with all applicable laws, rules
and regulations, as may be deemed necessary for said purpose.
Section 6. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoptiogt
