Section 1. Every dining room within the City of Miami, Where
food shall be seated 'or exposed for sale, shall be at all times kept in
clean and sanitary condition, end free from flies, and all doors, windows
and passageways thereto, shall be screened with wire screen not comreer than
twelve meshes to the square inoh, provided that in case of any dining room
where the food served is compounded or cooked in a kitchen screened in acoord-

ante with this ordinance, the front entrance of such dining room may be left
unsoreened, provided the said entrance shall be protected by the use of suit-
able, high -power, electric fans, placed in accordance with the directions of
the City Health Officer, or Inspeotors of the Health Department in such manner
as to keep the said dining room free frcm flies; and provided further, that
dining rooms of roof gardens on, buildings of five or more stories in height
shall not be required to screen if they arb otherwise kept clean and in a
sanitary condition and free from flies.
Section 2. The kitchen of every hotel, boarding house, restaurant
or other place within the City of Miami, where persons are served with food,
or drink of any description, for pay, shall be securely screened against flies,.
by the use of wire soreening as specified in Seotion 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. At every lunch counter, operated in any railroad sta-
tion, or elsewhere, in the City of Meal, and every fruit stand and every
butcher shop and every store within said city, all fruit, food and food pro-
ducts, which may be Offered for sale, shall be kept in closed reooptaclea, or
ade44iately protected by covers of wire screening or netting, so placed as to
prevent flies from coming in aantaat with such fruit, food, or food Product,.
Section 4. No. hotel, boarding house, restaurant, lunch oouuter,
