CITY CHARTER, OITY OF MIAMI.s FLORIDA.
Whereas, the pity oounOil of the pity of Miami.,Florida, did SA
the 4th day of September, 1918, duly levy taxes for the following'dSsign+d
-ed fund of the city of Miami, at the following rate, suoh rate being
sufficient to realize upon the atssessed valuation of said city, amount-
ing to $81,149,950. the sum named after such rate, to wit:
Interest Bond Fund, 91 mill levy realising $53,674.11. and
Whereas, it is desired and deemed 'neoessary for the beat interests
of the city of Miami, that the sum of 436,000. be borrowed by said oity
to the credit of its interest bond fund and that:reveinue bonds be issued
as evidence of suoh loan; and
Whereas, said sum of 435,000. le less than seventy-five per oentum.
of that sum which remains atter subtracting from the amount of all
unoolleoted tuxes levied in the two preceding fisoal years, the amount
of all bonds, notes, warrants or other city obligations now Outstanding
which have no fixed maturity or which by their terms mature wltkin one

That the oity unifier and by virtue of the authority conferred by
Section 30 of the chatter of said oity,' proceed to 'sorrow the sum Of

the credit of the interest bond fund of said pity.
Be it further resolved that pursuant to the provisions of
Section 30 of the charter of said oity there be issued for said loan
the revenue bonds of the city of Miami in the aggregate sum of $35,000.

constitution, laws and charter; that this bond, together with all other
indebtedness of said city does not exceed any constitutional or statutory +t
limit thereupon; that there are no olaims against the said fund
save the claim of the bonds of this issue; and that the aggregate amount
of this issue does not exceed seventy five par oentum of that sum whioh
remains after subtraoting from the amount of all unoollected taxes levied
in the two preceding fiscal years the amount of all bonds, notes,
warrants or other oity obligations now outstanding whioh have no fixed
maturity, or whioh by their terms mature within one year from the date.of
their respeotive issuance. For the prompt payment of this bond with
interest at maturity the full faith, credit and taxing power of the City 4
of Miami are hereby irrevocable pledged and as additional security for sub
payment the said city oounoil pursuant to Section 30 of the oharter has
pledged and appropriated to suoh payment a sufficient amount of the
unoo.ieoted taxes and other revenue to be reoeived by the fund for whose
replenishment this bond is issued as heroinabove stated and this bond
constitutes a first charge upon such uncollected taxes and revenue.
