Wharton: We reoeived bids on aome sidewlls May 18, 1916 and have held them up pending arrangemente for finances. We have not yet arranged that entirely but we Oran award the contracts subject to the approval of the bonds by the New York Atterneys.In District ;:o. 7 we thought beat to accent the bid of the Biscayne Construction Co. for 48797.98, time limit 100 days; the next bid is 420. under that figure, but it is for the best interest of the city that the oontraaot be split. ;,loved by F.
