Moved by J. A. Conrad and seconded by H. G Ralston that the bills of Hay, June and
July be oopied in the minutes and ordered paid as soonras the Finance Committeeman is
satisfied that same are oorreot. Motion carried.
There was a general disonssion as to the future handling of the oity's bills
covering purchases by the different departments and it was decided that the Finanoe
Committeeman should look into the matter and devise ways and means of seouring a
close check on the bills, especially as to whether or not the material covered by
such bills was of good quality, was actually received for and used by the oity.
Chairman McDonald announced that in his opinion nit would be well to have each
committeeman oheok up the bills of hie department each month.
