The minutes of January 15th wore read . • The minutes of January 22nd were real. The minutes of January 25th were reed. The minutes of February 9th were read. The Chairman ordered that as there were no errors or emirsirns, the minutes would stand approved ss read. RESOLUTION NO n WHEREAS, the management of The Detective Magazine, sffisial organ of the International Aeeesi stien of Chiefs of Pelias and Sheriffs, through its President, Col. P. C. Mr. Padgett addressed Ceunsil in reference to the Fire Deprt ent, stating that on alarm had been turned in at two bozos in his neighborhood and the Fire Department failed to respond. He further said that after the firs was put out, a fireman drove up in a redmashine and said than the boxes must have been out of fix and spoke in • very unbs suming manner to him when he protested against the Fire Deportment not coming out. And that he believed that there wore enough men standing idle around the Fire Depart— ment to see that the boxes were put in first —el ass condition, and that a mat ought to be sent around every day to test thsn.Fer as it was now, they had no "ire protection in that neighborhood. WHE EAS, the unsollested tax liens delivered to the City Attorney for eollestion show that the boxes for 1912 on Lot one (1) ,. Bleak forty—eight (48) South, assessed to Lena t(ttahall were unpaid, and the Raid Lena Mitchell caused said taxes, interest, recording end satisfastiein thereof, amounting in all to the sun of /3.67, to be paid to the City Attorney, and WHEREAS, since the payment of said taxes to the said City Attorney, the said Lena ?.(itehall hee produced her tax receipt Ne.
