Adjourned meeting of Counoil called to order by the Chairman. Members
present: F. G. Erfurt, C. F. Filer, J. A. McDonald E. C. Remfh.
The Chairmen instructed Council that as this was an adjourned meeting,
to go over the bills of the various dspartmentz , they would now pressed with them.
The Clerk read the bills of each department, after which the following motion
wee made:
Moved by E. C. Romfh, scsonded by J. A. MeDonald that all bills of the different
departments as read by the Clark be asceptsd oopied in the bill book and ordered paid
when funds wee available. Motion parried.
The City Clerk called the attention of Council to the feet that at tines
sertain bills such as. freight end express and hook fares had to be paid when presented,
and heretofore he had to adverse this sash to the eity and wait for it to be paid
so all the other bills were in their regular order.
After discussing the proposition for sometime, seuncil was of the opinion
that the Clerk should net be re cured to furnish the City this sash.
Moved by E. C. Remfh, scsonded by C. F. Filer, that ell bills due the City
Clerk by the city for sash atvaneed the different departments, be paid, and the Auditor
be instructed to drew voucher for seas. Motion carried.
Council next discussed the most feasible way to handle this preposition, and
finally dssided to allow the City Clerk a patty cosh fund of 12O0.00, mud se bills are
p aid by him, he prevent the bill to the Auditor, and the Auditor be instructed to
drew voucher in fever of City Clerk 'against the dep artnent in which the bill was con—
traeted, eaud the following resolution was introduced by Ce mailman Romfh:
RESOLUTION NO 206.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Auditor be instruoted to draw a voucher in _favor
of the City Clerk for, '0)0.00, es a petty sash asseunt . And that the City Clerk
be reimbursed every month for the eiusunt used by him charging to the reepeetive funds
according ts bills rendered. The said amount of 111200.00 to be returned to the city
in bills or sash ft the expiration of his term.
ADOPT D this 2nd day of March, 1914.
