As there were no errorp or omissions, the chair ordered the minutes approvers ':

Moved by J . A. Conrad and moved b1' F. Filer that the check held in ex crc +c•

Committeeman on Parks notified council that the rock road through
the city park acrods the bay was so narrow that the embankment had to be widened
,ut before it could be rolled,t! avoid its caving in.

The committeeman o- streets spoke in reference to the appoint:ent of the
different employee which was being held up,and he thought that each comm lttesnren
should have the appointment of the men in his depertment,and he wuld like to take
up the appointment of his department to night. and approve them.
After dicuesing the matter for some time,it wee decided to hold the
matter of appointments over 'until a full meeting of council.
the Chairmen called on members of Any outstanding committees asking if
they were ready to report. Park Committeeman McDonald said he would as he was a
member of the committee appointed to investigate a site for the Roy Scouts,he would
make the following recommendation:
Moved by J.A.McDonsld and seconded by C.F.Filer that Council give the
Boy Scouts a site on one of the lots owned by the city on 13th street,the site to be
determined by council,and the city to charge them a nominal rent for same,so that
the vested right pill remain in the name of the city. Motion carriers.
The City Engineer introduced profiles for the construction of a sever
on 7th street from Avenue F to Avenue J,erid also on Avenue C from First Street to
Waddell Street. These profiles were approved of by the Committ,,eman on Streets.
and he recommended the adoption of same.

e gins r Frederick for the construction of sewer on 7th street from Avenue F to Avenue
J and on First Street from Avenue C to Waddell Street be approved,en{1 adopted. Motin
carried.
