There were several petitions presented to councilone of which was to Pave 10th
Street and Rivereideond one to pave and sewer 16th streetmbetweeo Avenue d end
Miami River,and one to pave North River drive.All these petitions were held over.

Moved by C.hefty end seconded by E.F.Holmee that the church be requested to
pay the amount of sewer lien, and the sane wi 11 be refundnd. Motion carried.

I wish to change the design of the roof of M:rs.Alice Stur-
gis house. It now has H shingle hip roof and I want to change it to a Manserd roof,and
cover the Sarrle with metal shingles and tin fleshings. T have gone over the plans
the Fire Chief and the Buildino, Tnsoector and they both approveof he change as it
m,kes the denger of fire much lees than it now is. This chRnge willcoet about MOO.

third and final reeling. Motion carried. The orainance was read in n, 11.

AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of Miami, Florida Rmendjng
that portion of tee present license law of the City of Miami under iter "C" heving to
do with the sale of intoxicating liquors, wines and beer, t members or non-reeiOnnt
guests of clubs or associations whether incorporated cr not, at vocilicina the license
Pee to be charged such clubs or aesocietions.
BE 17 ORDATNCFD by the City Council of the City of !iftrii.;
Section 1. Met that portion of the present license law of tee of 'UF-11i
under item "C" having to do with the sale of intoxicating li(juors, wine end beer,
to members or ron-resident guests of clubs or associations whether incorporeted or
not , shell be end the ame sameis hereby felended-te read as followsltowit;
" Clubs or associations, whether incorporated or not, selling intoxicnting
liouorsowines or beer, to members or non-resident guests only, if composed of less
than Seventy five members )no hundred (100.00) Dollars aach; and if composed of
more than seventy five members, One hundred fifty ($150.00) each".
Section 2. Before any license be issued to any e.ub upder the provisions of this
ordinanoe,the said club ehallfurnish to the City Council; ilVE books or papers havin
to do with membership, and shall also furnish to the City Council a sworn statement
by its presidart or its secretary, setting forth toe exact number of members of
the cluo, at the date of the application for license.
Section 3. The City Council shall have power at any time to revoke any license
granted under this ordinance wizen the ordinance is not strictly complied with.

pense attached to these departments. As this was R verb; costly, report,the followini-
motion was made:
