Minutes of In reading the minutes,it was noted that e hill against the W.H.Combs Co. for lots in the cemetery had been referred to the City Attorney ''or collection. The City Attorey stated that Mr. Combs claimed diet he did not owe the city for the lots turned in by qr. Kolb. The matter was Finally referred to the City Attvney and the Conmitt semen on Sanitation,for adjustment. Mr. Combs asked permission to exhume the body of one Michael. Fitzgerald as his people had been located,and wanted the body shipped home. Stating that he had R permit from the State hoard of Health giving him persmission,but the ordinance of the City, section 309,reduired that the body be buried one year. Moved by F.C.Romfh end seconded by J.A.McDonald that Mr. Combs be allowed to move tne body of ore Fit:.ge raid on tne city cmetery ,providing that he gets a certificate from Dr . Jeckson giving hire permission to do so. Motion carried. A bill of 'fable Brown,for $125.00 refund on City license,pRid by her husband C.Ti.Rro n, was brought to tne attention of council 0: Ir. uonfh,Nnd Rdvising that under the circuuustances,the bill be paid. Motion carried. • Finance Commiteeman Romfh stated to council that there was enough money in the treasury to take up the $25,000 emergency bond,issued lastyear for 1912 taxes. Moved by E.C.Romfh and ueconried by J .A.McDonald that the Emergency Bond be paid April let. Motion carried. The following resolution was introduced by E.F.Ho ryes: A resolution making the salary of the sexton of the City Cemetery One Hundred Doll..rs ($100.00) per month. Be it resolved by the City Council of the city of 'fiami,that the salary of the sexton of the City Cemetery of the City of Miami, be and the same is hereby made One hundred dobl.,rs (100.00) per month, beginning with tr.e 1st day of May, A.D.1913. To lost time on account of being hurt while helping to make en arrest after being prssesdelnto service by Policeman G.K.McDade,7 weeks lost time by having hind broken at 320.00 per week. • 140.00. This bill,wae O.K. by R.O.Watson,Police Committeeman and a certificate from Dr. North verifying Mr. Polka statement. Moved by .J.A.'.cDonald and seconded by F.F.Holmes that the bill be paid. Motion carried. Mr. Bratley wanted to know where the west boundary line of the new addition would extend to. Mr. McDonald replied to the gentleman end stated that the cm committee had not made their report es to the lines yet. The chairnan called attention to the fact that sometime ago,a street car franchise ordinance was preented to council,and wanted to know frothe committeeman what progress had bean made. Mr. Holmes,the Chairman,produced a new street car ordin- ance in lieu of the former one,which was read only for information. After the ordinane wf s read,a lengthly discussioi: was gene into with the council and mayor and also with private personsns present,among them being S.'!.Tatum,Mr. Abel and 'tr. Tom Cassi.dey. Co'incil decided not to do anything with the ordinance at this meeting. Moved by F.C.Romfh and seconded by J.A.McDoald that council adjourn. Attest: City clerk. President 1ity Council.
